Heather W. Chiang earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University in 1991. She was a paralegal engaged in the practice of family law, trust and estates law, and education law in the State of Florida from 1995 until 2008. She taught the Kids First class (a parenting education course required of all parents engaged in the family court system in Florida) in Leon County, Florida, from 1998 until 2005. Mrs. Chiang has been a paralegal engaged exclusively in family law in the State of New Jersey since September 2008 and has a total of 30 years of experience as a family law paralegal.

Mrs. Chiang and her husband have two college-aged daughters. She is involved in her immediate community, having served two terms in the role of President of her local Neighbors and Newcomers service and social group, the organizer of her neighborhood block party for three years, and various volunteer activities with her daughters’ schools and Girl Scout troops throughout the years from Kindergarten through their Senior years. Although Mrs. Chiang and her husband have been married for 25 years, as a child of divorce herself combined with her 30 years’ experience in family law, Mrs. Chiang offers a deep understanding of the divorce process and its effects on parents and children.
