Wilentz Success Stories
Leukemia caused by exposure to benzene at work
We were successful in obtaining a recovery for a widow whose husband worked onboard ships and was exposed to gasoline and benzene. It was our contention that these exposures caused his leukemia and death. This case was successfully resolved by settlement on behalf of the widow.
Mansfield v. Custom Office Refinishing
In this matter, we represented an office worker who unfortunately happened to be in the office when an outside contractor was electrostatically spraypainting file cabinets. As a result of this exposure, the employee developed industrial asthma and RADS (reactive airway dysfunction syndrome). As a result of this condition, the employee was forced to move from New Jersey into a more allergy friendly environment. As a result of her initial exposure, she became sensitized to all types of smells and chemicals and became allergic to all of them. This case was successfully resolved in our clients favor.
